No, you don't need to login to use the game. You can use it offline too.

What is the privacy policy?

Fiery Sudoku doesn't send any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) outside of your device. It does report anonymous usage report like the pages you clicked, etc to Google Analytics. This information helps me decide which features are used frequently and what errors people encounter so I can improve the game.
